Apple Watch is no stranger to saving lives in fact many believe that they are still able to breathe air due to that. Recently another such incident has come to light where an Indian entreprenuer named Kuldeep Dhankar survived a car crash with the help of the Apple Watch that he was wearing. Dhankar, founder of Last9.io, shared a photo on X showing his damaged car and a police officer assessing the accident scene on a US highway. He explained in the post that his vehicle was rear-ended while he was stuck in standstill traffic.

Remarkably, his Apple Watch instantly detected the collision and automatically contacted emergency services. The quick action of the device’s crash detection feature, combined with the prompt assistance from the California Highway Patrol, played a crucial role in ensuring his safety and allowed him to resume his journey with minimal disruption.

(we are perfectly safe) Apple watch detected that we were in a crash and auto called 911 and there was an officer on the scene with in minutes. we were able to leave in 30 minutes and got to our destination safe. so impressed by Apple watch and california highway patrol. Also thankful. very thankful.”
