<p>Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah watched the practical application of three laws in Chandigarh on Tuesday. The three new criminal laws&mdash;Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam&mdash; replaced the British-era Indian Penal Code, Code of Criminal Procedure, and Indian Evidence Act, respectively on July 1.</p>

<p>During the programme, a live demonstration highlighted how newly introduced digital platforms such as e-Sakshya, Nyay Setu, Nyay Shruti, and e-Summons have streamlined law enforcement, judicial procedures, and evidence management. The event included simulating a crime scene investigation to showcase their practical applications.</p>
