<p><strong>Jammu-Kashmir News: </strong>At least 30 passengers, primarily nursing students, sustained injuries on Tuesday when a private mini-bus skidded off the road and plunged into a ditch in Udhampur district, according to officials. The mini-bus was en route from Salmari to Udhampur when it veered off near village Farma around 12:30 pm, reportedly due to brake failure.</p>
<p>Authorities launched a rescue operation promptly, transporting the injured passengers to Government Medical College Hospital in Udhampur for treatment. Officials reported that three individuals suffered severe injuries and were being transferred to Jammu for specialised care, as per news agency PTI.</p>

<p>Udhampur Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai, who visited the hospital to oversee the situation, stated that around 30 to 35 individuals were on board the mini-bus when it went off the road. &ldquo;An inquiry will be initiated to ascertain the cause of the accident,&rdquo; she told reporters, as quoted by PTI.</p>
<p>Speaking to news agency ANI, BJP MLA Pawan Gupta commented, &ldquo;We received a call regarding the incident. Twenty to twenty-two of them are nursing students. Thirty to thirty-five people are injured, and three are critical. We will give them the best possible treatment.&rdquo;</p>

<h3><strong>Pune: 2 Dead, 64 Injured As State Transport Buses Collide</strong></h3>
<p>In a separate incident on Monday, two people lost their lives, and 64 others sustained injuries when two state transport buses collided on the Pune-Solapur Highway. The accident occurred near Varvand village in Pune district around 5 pm, as reported by Police Inspector Narayan Deshmukh.</p>
<p>The collision involved a Pune-bound Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus and a Solapur-bound bus. According to Inspector Deshmukh, the Pune-bound bus swerved to avoid a two-wheeler that suddenly appeared in its path. As a result, it crossed the divider and collided with the oncoming bus.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The buses were reportedly carrying over 110 passengers at the time of the incident. Inspector Deshmukh stated, “Two passengers died on the spot, and 64 others from both buses sustained injuries and were rushed to a hospital.” A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.</p>
