The announcement of the Maharashtra Assembly election dates is expected soon, and the biggest question remains: Who will be the Chief Ministerial face for the Maha Yuti and the Maha Vikas Aghadi? In the meantime, statements have emerged from Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis regarding the Chief Ministerial candidate for the Maha Yuti. In an interview Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated, “There is no dispute regarding the Chief Ministerial face in the Maha Yuti. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is the leader of the government, and we are going into the elections presenting this government. After the elections, the decision will be made by Shiv Sena President Eknath Shinde, NCP President Ajit Pawar, and our parliamentary board. Whatever is decided will be accepted by everyone.”
