<p>Ajay Jadeja, the ex-India cricketer, has been announced the next Jam Saheb of Nawanagar, also known as Jamnagar, a princely state in Gujarat. The same was confirmed in a statement by Maharaja Jam Saheb of Nawanagar.</p>
<p>Shatrusalyasinhji Digvijaysinhji Jadeja said that the former India batter had agreed to become his heir, in a document shared by news agency ANI. Notably, Shatrusalyasinhji, the current Jam Saheb of Nawanagar, happens to be the cousin brother of Ajay’s father.</p>

<h3><span style=”color: #ba372a;”>Ajay Jadeja Born In The Nawanagar Royal Family</span></h3>
<p>Notably, Ajay Jadeja was born into the Nawanagar royal family. He has a rich cricketing legacy as well with his relatives K Ranjitsinhji and KS Duleepsinhji both honored through the domestic cricket tournaments Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy respectively.</p>
<p>As far as Jadeja’s international cricket career is concerned, he went on to represent India in 15 Tests and 196 ODIs, scoring 576 and 5359 runs respectively.</p>
