<p>Express train rams into a stationary train at Kavarapettai in Tamil Nadu, several feared injured, Railway police informed on Friday. According to initial inputs, the 12578 Mysore-Darbhanga Express collided with a goods train at 8:50 PM. Fire and smoke began emitting from two coaches after the collision. </p>
<p>According to initial inputs, there were no casualties in the incident but at least 20 persons were injured and are being rushed to hospitals. Signal issues are suspected to have caused the accident.</p>

<p>According to Southern Railway, six coaches of Train No.12578 (MYS-DBG) Mysore to Darbhanga were derailed after it collided with a goods train at around 8:30 PM. No causalities were reported. The medical relief van and rescue team have started to move from Chennai Central, news agency ANI reported.</p>
