Sharma criticized the pre-Article 370 mindset of local leaders, who he claimed believed that terrorists would secure them votes. With Article 370 abolished, separatism has been eradicated, forcing Kashmiri politicians to seek votes from the people for the first time. Sharma also criticized Rashid Engineer, labeling him as a dubious character known for changing allegiances, and predicted that both political families would be defeated.</p>
