<p>The development comes barely hours after two migrants from Uttar Pradesh were injured in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district. The injured duo, Sufiyan and Usman, sustained injuries after being shot at in the Mazhama area of Magam in Budgam.</p>

<p>According to ABP News sources, there are 2-3 terrorists hiding in the area. One of the terrorists is believed to be a local. As many as 12 houses have been evacuated and the residents were taken to a safe place.</p>

<p>In a separate incident in Rawalpura outside a school, an Army jawan was targeted and shot at. He was hospitalised after the attack. Intelligence had earlier issued an alert of the presence of terrorists in the area. Such major attacks in core Srinagar areas are taking place after nearly 2.5 years. The last major attack in Srinagar was in April 2022.</p>
<p>Search operations are underway in Budgam and Bandipora are underway after terror attacks in the regions. An Army camp was also attacked in Bandipora on Saturday morning. </p>
