<p><strong>Maharashtra Election 2024: </strong>The Shiv Sena, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, released its third list of 15 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections on Monday. Among the notable names is BJP leader Shaina NC, who is set to contest on a Shiv Sena ticket from the Mumbadevi Assembly constituency.</p>
<p>As per the list, the Shiv Sena has fielded several candidates across various constituencies, including Shashikant Khedekar from Sindkhed Raja, Hikmat Baliram Udan from Ghansawangi, Sanjana Jadhav from Kannad, and Rajesh Govardhan More from Kalyan Rural. Other candidates include Ashok Dharmaraj Patil for Bhandup West, Amol Dhondiba Khatal for Sangamner, Bhausaheb Malhari Kamble for Shrirampur, and Vithalrao Vakilrao Langhe Patil for Nevasa.</p>

<h3><strong>Maharashtra Election: Milind Deora To Faceoff With Aaditya Thackeray In Worli</strong></h3>
<p>In its second list on Sunday, the Eknath Shinde-led party announced the nomination of Rajya Sabha member Milind Deora against former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son, Aaditya Thackeray, from Mumbai’s Worli constituency, setting the stage for a high-voltage contest. Deora, a former Congress leader and Union Minister of State, joined the Sena earlier this year before the Lok Sabha polls and subsequently secured a Rajya Sabha seat. The face-off between Deora and incumbent MLA Aaditya Thackeray is expected to draw significant attention.</p>

<p>The Shiv Sena also announced its candidates for other key seats, including Nilesh Rane, son of BJP Lok Sabha member Narayan Rane, from the Kudal constituency. His younger brother, sitting MLA Nitesh Rane, has been renominated by the BJP from Kankavali in Sindhudurg district. Member of Legislative Council and former MP Bhawana Gawali has been selected for the Risod seat in Washim district, while MLC Amshya Padvi will contest from the Akkalkuva constituency in Dhule district.</p>
<p>The party has also nominated former Lok Sabha member Sanjay Nirupam for the Dindoshi seat in Mumbai, and ex-BJP leader Murji Patel for the Andheri East constituency. Additionally, Rajendra Gavit, a former BJP MP who joined the Shiv Sena in 2019 and won the Palghar Lok Sabha seat, has been fielded from the Palghar Assembly constituency.</p>
<p>Elections for the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly are scheduled to take place on 20th November, with vote counting set for 23rd November.</p>
