Gangsters Set 80 Dalit Homes On Fire In Bihar’s Nawada, Open Fire As Well | ABP Live

In Bihar’s Nawada district, around 80 houses in a Mahadalit settlement were set ablaze by local goons on Wednesday. The incident occurred in the Mufassil police station area, where the attackers also opened fire. Several cattle perished in the fire. The victims alleged that the attackers not only fired shots but also assaulted villagers. Upon receiving information, a fire brigade team arrived and managed to control the blaze after significant efforts. According to the villagers, a similar firing incident had occurred in November last year, but the police had failed to take action. This negligence, they believe, led to the current situation, where their village was torched. The authorities are now investigating the incident, while the affected villagers await justice.
